Glass Replacement for Traditional Queen Anne Style Lead Work

Project Overview

The customer’s property, which featured traditional Queen Anne style lead work, required a complete update to the glazing. The existing leaded glass units were outdated, inefficient, and in need of repair, making the house less energy-efficient and affecting the overall aesthetic.

The customer made a huge cost-saving by opting not to replace their entire windows and instead opting for replacing the glass units only. This is largely due to the customer proactively maintaining their windows which are over 10 years old, but still look brand new.

Problem: The old glass units were no longer functioning optimally, leading to drafts, condensation, and energy inefficiencies. Additionally the customer recently re-decorated their property and wanted to avoid a potentially messy and disruptive window replacement service.

Solution: A high-quality replacement of 56 double-glazed units to clear glass, providing both modern insulation and a fresh, clean look while maintaining the property’s overall aesthetic charm. Resulting in a huge cost saving, the customer’s house was transformed instantly, and we think it looks great!
