Composite Door Questions

How much does a composite door cost?

It depends on the style, colour, glass and hardware you choose. We give a free, fixed written quote after measuring up.

Are composite doors more secure than uPVC doors?

Composite doors are thicker and more rigid than most uPVC doors, and come with high-security multi-point locking, making them one of the most secure choices for a front door.

Can I choose a different colour inside and out?

Yes. Many of our composite doors can be finished in one colour outside and another, such as white, inside.

Do composite doors need maintenance?

Very little. An occasional wipe with soapy water and a drop of oil on the locks and hinges keeps them looking and working like new. See our aftercare guide.

Do I need a FENSA certificate for a composite door?

Not always. Certification usually applies where a replacement door is more than 50% glazed. We are CERTASS registered, so where a certificate is needed we arrange it for you. Read more in our guide.
