Sustainability Policy

Sustainability | Keystone Glazing

At Keystone Glazing, we take a practical and responsible approach to sustainability across our window, door, conservatory and extension projects. For us, it is about making sensible choices that reduce waste, improve efficiency and support better long-term outcomes for our customers and the local area.

We aim to source products and materials locally wherever possible. Working with local suppliers helps reduce transport miles, lowers the overall carbon footprint of our installations and supports trusted businesses close to home. This applies across much of our fenestration supply chain, including windows, doors and associated materials.

We are also conscious of the materials we recommend. Where appropriate, we can supply timber products sourced from sustainable and regenerative wood sources, alongside high-performance glazing systems designed to improve thermal efficiency and help homeowners reduce energy loss.

Responsible waste handling is another important part of our approach. Removing old windows, doors and glass generates significant waste, and while it is often easier to dispose of these materials through mixed waste streams, we choose to do things properly. We use licensed waste handling processes and separate recyclable materials wherever possible, including glass and uPVC, so they can be processed and reused rather than simply sent to landfill.

As a registered upper tier waste carrier, we are committed to handling waste responsibly and in line with our legal obligations. You can view our waste carrier certificate here: View our Upper Tier Waste Carrier Certificate

Our aim is simple: deliver high-quality glazing work while reducing unnecessary waste, improving efficiency and making better choices wherever practical.

If you are looking for a glazing company in Chichester and the surrounding area that combines quality workmanship with a responsible approach, Keystone Glazing is here to help.
