Black Aluminium Door & Window Installation in Midhurst

Black Aluminium Door & Window Installation in Midhurst

Project Overview

A simple but striking transformation for this property in Midhurst, West Sussex.

The existing white uPVC door and window arrangement was removed before the opening was modified to accommodate the new design. As part of the alteration, we installed a new lintel to provide the required support above the revised aperture.

The opening was then finished with a new black aluminium garden door and matching aluminium window, creating a much cleaner, more contemporary appearance.

From White uPVC to Black Aluminium

The original white uPVC entrance had become tired and dated, so rather than simply replacing the existing configuration, the aperture itself was altered to create a more considered new entrance.

The completed installation features:

The slim aluminium frames and black finish give the entrance a noticeably sharper appearance, while the integral blinds provide privacy without requiring separate blinds or curtains.

Building Works Managed by Keystone

This installation involved more than simply replacing a door and window. The existing aperture needed to be altered and a new lintel installed before the new aluminium entrance could be fitted.

Keystone Glazing can manage these building works as part of the overall installation. We have an experienced general builder within our team who specialises in the building work associated with window, door and conservatory projects.

This includes aperture alterations, new lintels, brickwork, footings and conservatory foundations, allowing us to coordinate both the building work and the installation rather than requiring customers to arrange separate trades.

For this Midhurst project, that meant we could take the entrance from the original uPVC configuration, through the structural alterations, to the completed aluminium installation as one managed project.
